Her identity remains shrouded in secrecy, but she confessed to being a frequent participant in lottery games, particularly enjoying scratch-off tickets.

Instead of sticking to a particular game, she revealed that her participation depends on when she feels lucky, choosing various tickets on a whim.

On her visit to the Maryland Lottery headquarters, she claimed the life-altering $200,000 top prize from the Ravens X10 scratch-off game.

In a conversation with a Lottery official, she expressed, ‘This money is a blessing. I intend to share this blessing with others – primarily my family – and I’ll donate some to the church or a charity. I plan to save a significant portion, but my main hope is to do good with it.‘

Macy purchased her winning ticket at High’s, located at 1624 Annapolis Road in Odenton. The retailer that provided the winning ticket will receive a $1,000 bonus.

A Long Wait to Cash In

Although she realized her winning status back in November, the fortunate woman completely forgot to cash in her substantial prize.

She recalled purchasing the ticket on a day when she was suffering from a severe headache.

‘I went to the store to buy some medication and stopped for gas on my way home. While there, I decided to pick up a ticket,’ she explained.

After scanning the ticket, she initially thought there was an error with the machine.

Feeling unwell, she returned home and decided to use the Maryland Lottery’s app to scan the ticket again.

Confetti erupted on her screen, revealing the $200,000 prize. ‘I was shocked,’ she remembered.

Though she signed the ticket and stored it securely, she did not cash it immediately.

She did mention to her family that she had some ‘good news,’ but it wasn’t until several months later, when a relative inquired about that news, that she remembered she hadn’t redeemed her ticket.

At once, she reached out to the Maryland Lottery to claim her winnings.

After this recent $200,000 victory, three top prizes remain available in the Ravens X10 game.
