The chief executive of one of the United States’ rapidly expanding lottery courier service companies recently attended the annual East Coast Gaming Conference (ECGC). This event gathered business leaders, game developers, and other key figures, offering unique networking and collaboration opportunities.

ECGC Fosters Collaboration Between Operators and Regulators

The 28th edition of the East Coast Gaming Conference concluded last week, taking place from April 15 to April 16, 2025, in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Yael Hertz, CEO of TheLotter Group, a prominent figure in the lottery courier sector, participated in the panel titled ‘Future Shock: Confronting Unprecedented Changes in Gaming.’ Here, she emphasized the necessity for comprehensive regulation and guidelines for lottery couriers throughout the nation.

Lottery couriers like TheLotter enhance lottery ticket sales via online orders, thereby increasing revenue for local businesses.

These operators also promote responsible gaming and contribute to community initiatives, supporting various programs such as education and veterans’ services.

During the recent ECGC, Hertz advocated for the development of a regulatory framework and guidelines for lottery couriers in each state. She further explained, ‘Understanding and addressing pain points in a way that builds trust is key to creating meaningful and competitive offerings.’

TheLotter’s CEO expressed her enthusiasm, saying, ‘I’m thrilled to have been part of a panel that advances discussions in an ever-evolving industry.’

Hertz remarked, ‘Events like ECGC provide invaluable opportunities for regulators, operators, and suppliers to come together and shape the future of gaming.’

TheLotter’s Growth Ambitions in the US

Lloyd Levenson, co-founder of ECGC, noted the importance of including TheLotter Group in this year’s event. ‘Their insights bring a fresh and dynamic perspective to the evolving gaming landscape, from navigating complex regulatory challenges to identifying new growth opportunities in the Lottery Courier space,’ he stated.

TheLotter successfully secured its initial licenses in New York and New Jersey. The company remains focused on expanding its footprint further.

According to Hertz, New York and New Jersey exemplify effective regulation, allowing lottery courier operators to work collaboratively with regulators.

In 2023, Hertz took on the role of CEO at TheLotter. Since then, she has significantly contributed to the company’s growth and expansion.
