Bally’s Corporation Strengthens Leadership with New Executive Appointments

The renowned casino entertainment company, operating across 11 states and managing 19 casinos, Bally’s Corporation, has announced a significant update to its executive leadership team.
On Tuesday, the corporation revealed the appointment of Mira Mircheva, a former executive from Standard General, to an important dual senior-level position.
A Seasoned Executive Takes on a Dual Role
Mira Mircheva, who brings over two decades of professional experience, joins the company as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
In addition to this pivotal role, Mircheva will also assume the responsibilities of Executive Vice President.
Alongside her appointment, Bally’s Corporation announced that Marcus Glover, their current CFO, will transition to the position of Executive Vice President, Global Operations Group.
As she steps into her new dual role, Mircheva will be entrusted with a wide array of responsibilities. Although Bally’s has confirmed her senior-level appointment, it is noted that her position is pending relevant regulatory approvals.
Mira Mircheva, a holder of a B.A. in Economics from Colgate University, brings with her more than 25 years of experience to Bally’s.
Throughout her extensive career in the gaming industry, she has focused on the financial sector and has held numerous significant senior-level positions within renowned companies.
Mircheva’s Role in Bally’s Growth Strategy
In a statement, Mircheva expressed her enthusiasm, stating, ‘I am thrilled to join Bally’s during such an exciting time for the company. I look forward to leveraging my experience to enhance our financial standing by optimizing our cost structure, improving operational efficiency, and drawing on the collective expertise of our Board and colleagues worldwide.’
Soo Kim, Chairman of Bally’s Board of Directors, remarked that Mircheva’s extensive CFO experience, combined with her strong financial and operational expertise, makes her the ideal candidate to help Bally’s pursue its long-term financial objectives.
Robeson Reeves, the CEO of Bally’s, warmly welcomed Mircheva to the executive team. Reeves expressed excitement at having a professional of her caliber join the C-suite.
Ultimately, Reeves highlighted that ‘Mircheva brings considerable experience to this role, and her tenure as CFO at The Queen Casino and Entertainment will be invaluable as we integrate Queen into Bally’s.’
As Bally’s CEO explained, prior to joining Bally’s, Mircheva served as CFO at The Queen Casino and Entertainment.
Her impressive professional history also includes holding other senior-level roles, such as Partner and Research Analyst at Standard General, as well as Senior Research Analyst at Perella Weinberg Partners Asset Management.
Throughout her career spanning more than 25 years, Mircheva also held the position of Vice President in credit principal investing at Goldman Sachs.
