In a conversation with a Michigan Lottery official, the 51-year-old remarked, ‘I am a dedicated Lottery player and have always envisioned winning a huge prize.’

Furthermore, the lucky winner shared, ‘When I verified the ticket at the store, none of us could believe our eyes!’

This resident of Van Buren Township confessed that she often imagined how winning the lottery would feel, but never anticipated experiencing such a unique thrill and excitement.

The thrilled winner exclaimed, ‘Winning just feels good.’

Upon visiting the Michigan Lottery headquarters, the 51-year-old was presented with two options: she could either opt for a lump-sum cash payment or receive annual annuity payments of $25,000 for the next 20 years or for life, whichever lasts longer.

Predictably, she chose the lump-sum cash option, which increased her bank balance by $390,000, prior to the deduction of state and federal taxes.

When queried about her plans for the newfound wealth, she mentioned considering the purchase of a house.
